Yes, it's a stereotype but that doesn't mean it's not true. The majority of Americans have never been outside of the US and have little interest in the world outside of their borders. In the UK it is illegal to send grossly offensive communications. This applies whether the intended recipient is the subject of the potential offense or not. This is one of the few cases where I think the law should be literally reversed, every word negated and every “illegal” turned into a protected “right”. Man-made global warming is happening, faster than predicted, and the consequences for us all could be disastrous.
